Originally from Columbus, Georgia, Ashley relocated to Jacksonville, Florida from Williamsburg, VA in 2022. She attended the University of Georgia and has many years of experience in Dental Practice Management throughout the Southeast. Growing up, she always loved going to the dentist and is now motivated to help patients feel that same sentiment when visiting our office. Bringing years of management experience, we are pleased to have her as our Office Administrator ensuring smooth operations in all aspects of patient care. From the initial phone call, partnering with referring dentists, reviewing clinical and financial expectations, to follow-up care, Ashley’s goal is to provide comfort and confidence with each interaction. Her administrative savviness coupled with her hospitable Southern charm, makes Ashley the perfect team leader and patient advocate for comprehensive care.
Originally from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Cynthia moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2001. Cynthia first realized she wanted to be in the dental field during high school after volunteering in a six month co-operative dental education program. She received her dental radiography certification from the University of Florida. From the initiation of her dental career in 2002, Cynthia has specialized particularly in the field of microscopic endodontics. Devoting her entire dental career to the endodontic specialty, Cynthia’s clinical experience is tailored to provide a seamless experience. Her extensive endodontic knowledge and keen attention to detail combined with her calm demeanor makes her a valuable asset to our team as Head Clinical Assistant. She enjoys the one on one experience with each patient with the goal of making each individual feel comfortable throughout their entire dental experience. In addition to her role at our office, Cynthia is also active in the local Jacksonville community and mission relief efforts abroad.
Cassie is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to her dental training, she was experienced as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). She focused on caring for the elderly community, specifically patients coping with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Her medical experience is a great asset to our office in providing compassionate care in a calm and patient manner. Interest was piqued during a visit with her family dentist when she was informed of a local dental assisting program. Cassie received her expanded functions dental assistant and radiography certification from Bartram Dental Assisting School in 2016. As part of our team, Cassie now finds satisfaction in transferring her years of medical experience in providing exceptional care to our dental patients as a chairside dental assistant and radiographer. Cassie also enjoys working in the front office of the practice. Her focus, efficiency and organizational skills help facilitate smooth operations in the front office, while building comforting, trusting relationships with patients. It is her goal to work together with the referring staff and doctors to make each visit a positive experience for each patient.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Kristena moved to Jacksonville in 2020. Of Moldovan heritage, she also fluently speaks Russian and Ukrainian. Fascinated about teeth and how the appearance of them can change someone’s smile, she had an interest in entering the dental field. She graduated from Cuyahoga Career Valley Center in 2018 as a Registered Dental Assistant. Currently, she is also enrolled in the National Honors Society at FSCJ pursuing her career in Dental Hygiene. Kristena’s delightful disposition and driven spirit makes her an exceptional member of our team! We are confident her pleasant personality and broad scope of dental knowledge will enhance your journey with our office!
Jasmin was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. Fluent in Spanish, Jasmin is also bilingual. Her interest in dentistry was sparked from the desire to help others overcome any anxiety they may have of the dental office and have the most comfortable experience possible as she too had overcome her dental anxieties in early childhood. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Dental Careers Academy in 2017 and received her expanded functions dental assistant and radiography certification from The Academy for Dental Assistants in St Petersburg, FL. Jasmin is always calm and steady, contributing to a relaxing and reassuring atmosphere in our dental home. Her peaceful presence will help ease your dental anxiety, as she patiently guides you through each step of your visit.
Maria’s hometown is Bessemer, Alabama. Eager to start her career path, Maria began her dental career immediately after high school. She enrolled in the dental assisting program at Fortis Institute. She fell in love with the career after having a tour of the school. It was love at first sight once she experienced the hands-on patient care at the school clinic. Her love for dentistry translated into excelling academically in the program. She graduated from Fortis institute in 2014, as one of the Top 10 Students with a 3.9 GPA. As a certified dental assistant and radiographer, she embarked on her dental career assisting in pediatric, endodontic and cosmetic dentistry. Hungry for ever advancing, Maria even reached her goal of becoming a Dental Assistant Instructor in 2020. When she relocated to Jacksonville, FL for military reasons, she attended the Academy of Dental Assistants in Tampa, FL to acquire her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification (EFDA) in Florida. With over a decade of experience in various dental specialties as trainer and lead assistant, Maria was a valuable addition to our team. She was delighted to join our team and return to endodontics, her favorite specialty. She expresses, “I enjoy being a dental assistant. I wouldn’t change it for the world!”. Her eagerness to expand her knowledge and huge heart make Maria a definite stand-out! Her deep concern for her patients moves her to treat every individual like family. She continues, “I try to understand and comfort anyone that comes to the dental chair because If my kindness and compassion and education can get through to them, then I have done my job right.”.
